Abstract:In this paper we present a new design method of adopting the optimum technique to select the parameters of the loudspeaker system. Based on the acoustic analogous circuits of the closed-box loudspeaker systcm, the mathematical model is established and the sound-pressure frequency response is derived. Thus the optimum designs of the lousspeaker system are computed by the use of one of the multiple-dimension optimum techniques. It is demonstrated by experiments that the mathematical model is correct, that the optimum technique is suitable, and that the agreement between the calcuated response curve and the measured curves is satisfactory.
