| Abstract: | The thesis studies ＂Guernica＂ through contrastive analysis of appreciation between Chinese and Ameri- cans and the appreciation methods based on cognition, in order to improve foreign language learners＇ cross-cultural consciousness, make up for each other＇s deficiency from pluralistic appreciation, deepen comprehension of ＂Guer- nica＂, develop aesthetic experience and critical thinking ability. |
