中国开封犹太人的若干问题

犹太人在中国开封被同化是中外关系史和世界文化交流史上今人极感兴趣的问题，而且还是犹太民族史上被外族同化的弧例。本文研究了中国开封犹太人的历史，认为中国封建社会的长期封闭以及开封独特的环境因素——周期性的洪水，尤其是科举制度与儒家思想对犹太文化的强有力渗透，促成了开封犹太人在６００年间被汉族同化。本文还根据笔者亲自前往开封所做实地考查的素材，对开封犹太人的现状、生活和民族意识作了初步分析。

On Some Questions Concerning the Jewish People in Kaifeng,China

The assirnilation of the Jewish people in Kaifeng,China,is a matter of keen inter-est in the history of Sino-foreign relations and of cultural exchanges in the world. It is,be-sides,the one and only case in Jewish history in which Jews were assimilated by local foreignpeople. After a careful study of the history of the Jewish people in Kaifeng,China,the writercame to the conclusion that it is the prolonged blockade of the Chinese feudal society,the speci-fic environmental elements in Kaifeng-the periodic floods and,particularly,the forceful per-meation of the imperial examination system and Confucian ideas among the Jews there-thataccounted for the assimilation of the Jews in Kaifeng by the Han people during the course of sixhundred years. Also It is included in the article that an initial analysis of the Jewish people'spresent conditions,living standard and their national consciousness,which is based on the ma-terials obtained by the writer's personal investigation in Kaifeng.
