| Abstract: | Analogy logic presents inductive logic in Ancient China.For all that,the value-relativity in analogy logic gives its expression to informal logic compared to modern inductive logic.Inductive reasoning system in Ancient China grounds ethical reasoning.As Confucian and Mohist discourse for funeral indicates three characters of the ethical reasoning:strong situation-sensitivity in major premise,the absence of deductive validity gives concession of probability and the dominance of analogy in the reasoning process.With all the basic ethical principles as axioms in ethical reasoning system,in the light of probability logic,subjective probability judgement not always follow the extensionality principle,which leaves the room for justification of some intensive factors as situation and such. |
