| 摘 要： | 自然选择保证人类认知能力具有适应上的可靠性,但后者并不能保证认知能力在获得真理上是可靠的。由于我们不具有确切的证据肯定真信念比假信念更能增加有机体的总适应度这一前提,因此连接自然选择与认知能力真理可靠性的原始论证是不成功的。但对该前提的某些质疑大多是没有真正根据的,而在归纳意义上的“诱人论证”可能是成立的。

| Abstract: | Natural selection guarantees the fitness-reliability of human cognitive faculties,which,however,can't guarantee the truth-reliability of cognitive faculties.Lacking of determinate proof of the premise that true beliefs are more likely to increase an organism's inclusive fitness than false beliefs,the primitive argument that correlates natural selection and the truth-reliability of cognitive faculties is not successful.However,some doubts about that premise are mostly untenable and the"tempting argument"may be plausible in the sense of induction. |
