| Abstract: | The alumination of the lowly siliceous zeolites, i. e. ZSM-5 (Si/Al_2=40) andmordenite (Si/Al_2=15), have been carried out by using a simple hydrothermaltreatment in a KOH solution at moderate temperature. ~29Si-MAS-NMR and ~(27)Al-MAS-NMR spectra show that the framework Al content has been increased and thecatalytic activity of the modified zeolites has been increased obviously for cumenecracking and toluene disproportionation. |
