Development Policy: Theory and Practice——from the Evolution of the Development Economics

To this day Development Economics have undergone three stages : the Structuralism, the Neo-classicahsm and the New Classical Political Economics. There are three development policy formed in correspondent with the three types: the nation-dominated, the market-dominated and institution-dominated development policies. The theory and practice of the development policy show that the developing country must know how to handle the government power and make an effort to keep from governmental failure. At the same time, the government must push the perfections of the market system through institutional change to gain the motive force of the economy development.
