形象思维是地学研究的一种重要思维方式．本文试图从人们对地球形状的猜测到证实；从大陆漂移假说的孕育到提出；从地质学进化发展的历史过程；以及地学工作者应具备的思维等几个方面，论述了形象思维在地学研究中的作用．

IMAGINAL THINKING EFFECT IN THE EARTH SCIENCE

Imaginal thinking is an imporant mode of thinking in the earth science.This paper tries to expound systematically imaginal thinking effect in the earth science from guessing the earth shape to verifing,from breeding of the theory of continental drift toputting forward,from developing historical process of geology to having thinking ability of the wockers in the earth science and so on.
