For all the species taxonomically relevant characters are described, and for the first time are illustrated in detail using SEM photography. The taxonomic status of Lucilina indica (Leloup, 1981) is clarified, and it is rejected from the synonymy of Lucilina carnosa (Kaas, 1979 Kaas P 1979 The chitons (Mollusca: Polyplacophora) of Mozambique Annales of the Natal Museum 23(3), 855–879 [Google Scholar]). |
