| Abstract: | In view of the general objective of the strategy for sustainable development in the 21st century, the paper presents a model for the sustainable development of the architectural industry as well as a designing framework for the sustainable utilization of buildings. The paper also puts forward a general designing concept regarding the architectural electrical system which occupies a key position in architectural design. A method by means of VE (Value Engineering) to control the cost and a case study of the application of such an electrical system are given in the paper. |
