外加偏压对三元准周期超晶格隧穿性质的影响

摘    要:利用Airy函数并应用转移矩阵方法,研究了三元准周期超晶格的电子共振隧穿着重讨论了不同外加偏压对隧穿性质的影响。结果表明,外加偏压对三元准周期超晶格的电子透射率有明显的影响。当偏压较小时,高透射峰出现在能量较高的区域;当偏压较大时,高透射率峰出现在能量较低的区域。

Abstract:In this paper the resonant tunneling character of the electron in three_tile quasiperiodic superlattices is investigated by the transfer matrix method with Airy functions. The effect of different applied biases on the tunneling is discussed. It is shown that the electron transmissivity in the three_tile quasiperiodic superlattice is affected by the applied bias. As the bias gets lower, the highest one of transmission peaks is located within a higher energy range; as the bias gets higher, the highest transmission peak is located within a lower energy range.
