番族教育与明清台湾民族关系的发展

明清之际的番族教育的目的是为了给台湾原著少数民族子弟提供教育的机会,使之学习儒家经典和朝廷律令,从而达到"导民向善"和"移风易俗"。从历史的角度来看,随着番族教育的不断发展,汉番之间因语言不通和文化差异而衍生的矛盾大为减少,汉番居民关系日趋融洽,对促进民族团结和维护祖国统一都起到了巨大而深远的影响。

The Minority Education and the Development of Ethnic Relations in Taiwan

The purpose of the original minority education in Taiwan is to provide educational opportunities for children of ethnic minority groups.The children were to learn Confucian classics and the court decrees in Ming and Qing Dynasties,so as to achieve the purpose of "leading people to perform good deeds" and "refinement".From a historical perspective,it appears that with the continuous development of the minority education,the conflicts between different ethnic groups decreased greatly,the relationship between them became harmonious,and it profoundly impacted on national cooperation and unity.
