基于CASE工具的地理空间数据库建模方法研究

Geodatabase是目前最具优势的空间数据库模型.Geodatabase的手动建立是一个复杂费时的过程,而且很难保证数据之间映射的准确性.文章中采用UML建模语言,通过使用CASE建模工具,建立起对象、元素、空间实体间的对应关系,自动生成Geodatabase空间数据库,实现数据的动态导入,并保证数据间映射关系的正确性.使我们避开了用复杂而难以理解的源代码来构建大型的Geodatabase,从而能极大地缩短设计开发周期,使设计方案更为标准化,有利于空间数据库后期修改和维护.文章还以一个GIS项空间数据库的设计与实现为例,介绍如何用UML来设计空间数据库,把面向对象的理论和方法应用于空间数据库的设计.

Design of the Geodatabase based on CASE tools

The spatial database is a data model using the standard relational database technology to display the geography information.It is the basement of the geographic information system software.In many kinds of spaces data model,Geodatabase has the very high superiority.To build a Geodatabase by hand is a complicated process that will take a lot of time,and the accuracy of data relationship is difficult to assure.The authors adopt UML(a setting up mold language) and use CASE mold tools to build up the relationship of object,feature dataset and feature,automatically build a Geodatabase,and ensure the accuracy.In the paper,taking the spatial database design of a GIS Project and the realization as an example,the authors introduce how to use UML to design the spatial database.At the same time they apply the object-oriented theory and the method in the spatial database design.
