| Abstract: | A successive diagonal updating algorithm for unconstrained optimization problems with stripHessian is presented.It is proved that this algorithm has at least locally linear convergence.Thenumerical results show that this algorithm has higher efficiency than Newton method andsimplified Newton method. |
