基于关联理论下的多模态英美文学教学

摘    要:英美文学教学一般包含文化史和文学作家作品的学习,是一个信息包含量大而广的课程,传统的教学主要以老师灌输、学生被动的接受为主,学生缺乏学习的积极性。而关联理论是从认知语言学的角度把语言交际看作是一个“明示—推理”的过程,指出交际是按一定的推理思维规律进行的一种认知活动。运用关联理论进行英美文学多模态教学,注重运用多媒体,能使各模态均具有最佳关联性。可充分调动学生的多种感觉器官的多模态认知,改变英美文学教学中传统的老师“一言堂”现象,从而促进教师与学生间的互动,还可有效提高学生学习英美文学的积极性。

Abstract:The teaching of English and American literature is generally difficulty, because it is a curriculum with extensive in- formation, including of cultural history, the writers and their works. In the traditional teaching classroom, the teacher instilled the knowledge mechanically, the students just accept passively, which is lack of initiative learning. The relevance theory regards the lan- guage communition as the process of “presentention and inference”from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, and it points out that the communication is a cognitive activity according to a certain rules of inference. The application of relevance theory to the muhi- modality teaching of Britain and American literature can make every modes achieve the best correlation, which can activate the various senses of students and change the traditional teaching.
