The analysis of the health check - up results from 756 staff in Shaoguan University shows that the abnormity rate is up to 37 %, among which the morbidity rates of hyperlipidemia and fatty liver rank as the first two. The investigation result that the morbidity rate of high blood pressure is not low among the staff aged above 50 reflects the great importance of health protection against cardiovascular diseases.
