简论《老子》的三个英译本

西方人了解或认识中国哲学当然主要是靠翻译文本。《老子》作为中国哲学的经典之一 ,历史上有过多种译本。本文从哲学概念的术语化及风格两个方面简要地、对比性地对《老子》的三个英译本进行了评论 ,认为新译本有可能在吸收旧译本的基础上而优越于旧译本

Comments on Three English Versions of Interpretation of Lao Zi

It is the translation versions that make the western world know the Chinese philosophy.There are numbers of translation versions of Lao Zi,one of the classics of Chinese philosophy.In view of terminizing philosophical concepts and style,the paper compares briefly three English versions of Lao Zi,holding that the new translation version seems to be benefited from the old ones and thus be better than them.
