Combination Relations and Operations of Form Features of Stamping Parts

Combination relations and operations of form feature are the key technologies of feature- based modeling of stamping parts.Thispaperemphatically discussed the adherentrelation of a holefeature and a primary feature,the embedding relation of the two features and the intersection relation of multiple fea- tures.Based on relations of the form features of stamping parts,feature relation graph and feature tree were produced.Furthermore,combination operations were putforward to realize the feature- based model- ing of stamping parts,which include the union operation,the hole- making operation,the embedding oper- ation and the feature- multiplying operation.The achievementof this paperfurtherperfects and enrichsthe feature- based design thchnology of stamping parts.
