| Abstract: | A kind of digital Q merer based on a single-chip microcomputer is designed according to the principle of free attenuation oscillation. It can not only measures the quality factor of coil but also inductance, capacitance and resistance over a wide range of frequency. The implementation of measurement is automatically controled by the single-chip microcomputer and also the data processing is done. it alternatively to conventional Q meter has advantags of higher measurement accuracy, higher speed, more simple procedure, smaller size and desiging more easily etc.We describes its hardware and software in detail and makes an analysis of measurement error. Moreover the measurement error is corrected by microcomputer. |
