| Abstract: | Letbe the set of all idempotent operators on a complex Banach space.The purpose of this note is to give the concrete form of either that every surjective map ψ onsuch that AB is a nonzero idempotent if and only if ψ(A)ψ(B)is for all A,B ∈or that every surjective map ψ onsuch that ABA is a nonzero idempotent if and only if ψ(A)ψ(B)ψ(A)is for all A,B ∈,when the dimension of is at least 3. |
