| Abstract: | This paper presents the application of geochemical fingerprint technique in research of the oil reservoir continuity, division of flow units, the contribution of individual oil bed among commingled oil wells, the distribution of remaining oils, etc.. The merits and demerits of each method are discussed and several improved measurements are put forward. Finally some potential applications are forecasted. |
