| Abstract: | The event of world champion Liu Xiang pulling out of the race events of the Beijing Olympic Games is one of sociological significance to have reflected the impact of globalization in sports, highlighting the concept of society as a whole as well as the spirit of humanistic sport, which is conducive to a rational look at social contingencies and a good understanding of the progressive spirit of the times. |
