摘    要:针对双负介质的电磁特性问题,用Mie级数解研究了金属球被双负介质覆盖的散射截面.推导了可以用于计算双层均匀色散介质球电磁散射的Mie级数解.计算了阻抗匹配的、理想的、均匀的双负介质球的散射截面,其后向雷达散射截面接近于零,同时与文献结果对比验证了算法和程序的正确性.比较了金属球被双负介质和铁氧体覆盖的散射截面.基于Mie级数解讨论了金属球被不同介质参数双负介质覆盖的后向雷达散射截面,计算结果表明,双负介质不同介质组合对金属球后向散射截面有一定影响.

Abstract:According to the electromagnetic(EM) characteristic of double-negative metamaterials(DNM),the scattering cross section of metallic spheres covered by DNM based on Mie series solution is studied.A Mie series formula for EM scattering of the two-layer homogeneous dispersive media sphere is derived.The scattering cross section of an impedanced-matched,ideal,homogeneous DNM sphere is computed.Its backward radar cross section(RCS) is close to zero.Meanwhile the validity of the proposed method and program is proved.The radar cross sections of the metallic sphere covered by DNM or ferrite are compared.Finally the backward RCS of metallic spheres covered by DNM with different parameters is computed.Numerical results show that the media parameters of DNM play an important part in the backward RCS of metallic sphere.
