| Abstract: | The application of the wavelet transform for the pitch detection of speech signal is discussed in this paper.It is shown that the wavelet transform algorithm is more acurate and more adaptive than traditional ones in spotting pitch.The pitch detectd is reliable and useful for Chinese tone recognition. |
