Abstract:The strictly analytical expressions for the resonant tunneling condition,transmission coefficient and the relation between the well width and thebarrier potential height in resonance condition for one-dimensional double-barrier structures have been derived,and the effect of the mass differ-ence has been discussed.The obtained results are useful for evaluatingthe energy variations of transmission coefficient and the resonant tunnel-ing device fabrications.
