The Characteristic Road of the Transformation of the Resource-type Cities--Take Lucheng City of Shanxi Province as the Example

This paper expounds the transformation modes of the resource-type cities in the western developed countries, and taking Lucheng City of Shanxi Province as the example, and by using the SWOT analyzing methods for enterprise's strategical decision, probes into the problems of developing the characteristic economy and realizing the mode-selection for the successful transformation of the resource-type cities form the microscopic, middle-scopic and macroscopic levels, and points out that choosing the suitable transformation mode, standing on the comparative advantage, and re-building the competitive superiority are the inevitable way for the transformation of the resource-type cities.
