Talking about the Construction of Characteristic Library

This paper analyzes some huge challenges brought about by the science & technology and the fierce competition in the new era to the librarianship,and points out that the new librarianship should start practically from the readers,construct characteristic collections,cultivate characteristic librarians,provide characteristic services and implement characteristic management to meet the demands of the new age for the librarianship.
