刘壎的古文思想

宋元之交的江西文坛,出现了两股文学风潮:一是刘辰翁的奇险,二是谢枋得的悲壮。刘壎在此基础上批判吸收,提出了自己的古文思想:文章应该出于自然,反对刻意仿古,也反对刻意求新;思想性与艺术性并重,重视文章的结构布局,也重视文章的教化功能。

On Liuxun’s Criterion of Ancient Prose

There were two literary thoughts in Jiangxi Province during the transition of Song and Yuan Dynasty.Liuchenweng’s prose was difficult to understand,and Xiefangde’s prose was heroical and tragic.Liuxun obtained his criterion of ancient prose on the basis of the two thoughts.He insisted that the writter should create very naturally instead of being in the style of the ancient and innovating deliberately,and the creation should reflect both artistic and ideological value.
