赞比亚铜带省重金属污染对当地民众健康的影响(英文)

摘    要:目的研究赞比亚铜带地区水、土壤和食物中的重金属污染以及因为赞比亚铜带地区小户农民利用污水浇灌农田对健康带来的影响。方法对该地区的水、土壤和食物按月进行采样,共计采集水样71份,土壤样49份,农作物样65份。采用标准方法分析土壤和水样中的生物可利用重金属元素,通过消解法分析农作物中的重金属总量。结果及结论分析结果表明,在该研究地域的水、土壤和农作物已经受到重金属的污染,此研究结果将用于促进赞比亚铜带省的采矿区对食品质量以及与重金属污染的粮食作物消费安全问题采取有效措施,避免使用矿区废水作为农用灌溉用水,控制和减少污水对农作物的污染。

Heavy metal pollution and human health effects on the Copperbelt of Zambia

Abstract:Objective--To investigate heavy metal pollution in water, soil and food crops on theCopperbelt of Zambia and their resultant human health effects because the wastewater irrigation farm-ing is one source of livelihood by small scale farmers on the Copperbelt towns of Zambia. Methods--One year of monthly samples of water, soils and crops were sampled from two locations of the studyarea. A total of 71 water samples, 49 composite soil samples and 65 crop samples were collected. Thewater and soil samples were analyzed for bio-available heavy metals using standard methods whilst thecrops were analyzed for the total heavy metals with digestion methods. Results and Conclusions-- Theresults indicated heavy metal contamination of water, soil and food crops in the study area and the re-sults from this study will be used to facilitate the development of mitigation measures on food qualityand safety associated with consumption of heavy metal polluted food crops from wastewater irrigationin the mining areas of the Copper-belt of Zambia.
