Integrated and Intelligent Network Management System Model

As there are significant limitations of the traditional network management solution, the integrated and intelligent network management system (IINMS) is developed rapidly. This paper discusses the traditional network management solution, and presents its significant limitations in detail and proposes a new IINMS model. This model integrates the SNMP and RMON technology, Java based network agent technology and rule/case based reasoning expert system for integrated and intelligent network management.
