| Abstract: | The theory and method of object oriented network management are presented. The article also describes in detail how to apply specifically the object oriented method in the design of network management system of JT PAC, a packet switched data communication network designed and implemented by the Research Institute of Computer Networking of Shanghai Jiaotong University, including the design of MIB, agent, proxy and manager station. The principle and development results can be used as references for engineers engaged in the design and implementation of domestic data communication network products and their management software. |
