Several Issues Arousing Special Attentions in Normal College Music Teaching

The primary concerns of music education in normal colleges are to focus on foundation, to emphasize basic skills and to teach the major theories. Thus teachers need to enhance practical and pertinent exercitation so as to train the students in different ways in accordance to their individual differences. This accordingly calls for the improvement of the teachers＇ singing ability and personal making. Furthermore, teachers must promote their language proficiency and their skills of piano accompaniment. Finally, teachers ought to explore their talents to innovation and scientific researches so that they promote the qualities of music teaching.
