| 摘 要： | 传统的时态理论局限在时间的平面考察英语时制，无法解释实际英语使用中英语的时与自然时间不对应的问题。如果引入隐喻视角，将英语现在时的意义拓展化过程理解为人们将两点重合关系的意象图式，投射到事件或事物的真值域，再投射到情感域之上的隐喻拓展过程，可以使现在时的语法意义呈开放灵活的状态，容纳更多的延伸性用法。

| Abstract: | The traditional grammar defines English tense system merely through the perspective of time, hence fails to explain the frequent conflicts between the definition and its actual usage like ＂the present tense sometimes expresses events in the past or future＂. When employing the concept of metaphor in cognitive grammar, we investigate the process of metaphorization of English present tense and present a more flexible and open understanding of it. |
