CHARACTERIZING FROZEN RANDOM PATTERN MODES OF COUPLED MAP LATTICE
Abstract:The spatiotemporal dynamicalbehavior of frozen random pattern modes of coupled map lattice(CML) is investigated .Thespace-related Lyapunov exponent spectrum is defined and calculated from perturbations toeach site for various perturb intensities and compared with that obtained from theproducts of Jacobean matrices.The diffusive process of a single site perturbation showsthat the space-related Lyapunov exponent spectra can well characterize the spatiotemporaldynamic behavior of the frozen random pattern mode of CML.
