摘    要:文学之所以为文学,形式乃是第一位的。真正的好作品,不仅能在思想内容上给予人启迪,同样,它的形式也必须十分出彩。余华同样也作出了相应的努力:小说《活着》拥有精致的语言、细致的人物刻画和曲折的故事情节及戏剧性。但是这些特质并不能掩盖它存在的缺点:拘泥于传统的平铺直叙的叙事手法,而未能使小说的节奏性、张力和主题的悲剧性有进一步的提升。

Abstract:The form is the first for literature. A reaUy good novel not only gives people inspiration in terms of ideol- ogy, but also has excellent form. Yu Hua made a corresponding effort, which was reflected in fine writing, detailed characterization and tortuous story in the novel To Live. But the Advantages can not cover up the shortcomings such as sticking in straightforward narration, so that the novel rhythm, tension and theme can not be upgraded further.
