| Abstract: | In diagnostic expert systems,there are many uncertain factors that affect the conclu-sions.Based on investigations on the uncertainty in diagnostic expert systems,a method for measuring the uncertainty of initial evidence and another for the rule matching as well as analgorithm for calculating the confidence level in uncertainty inference are proposed.Thesemethods have been successfully used in on-line vibration monitoring and a fault diagnosingexpert system for a turbogenerator set. |
