Thinking about An exercise of Advanced Mathematics

In the mathematical analysis,a simple and luminous premisise of definition about discontinuity point is given in most of textbooks.But I found an exercise in the textbook which is used generally concern a more extensive premise. Meantime we can prove the key to the exercise given by the textbook is wrong.
