高职高专非英语专业学生英语词汇学习策略

摘    要:词汇学习是是学习英语的重要环节,然而,词汇也是众多高职高专学生学习英语的拦路虎。针对高职高专学生学习词汇效果差这一问题,本文采用定性定量相结合的方法对学生的学习策略进行了调查。结果表明,高职高专对词汇学习的重要性有足够的认识,但是他们缺乏有效的词汇学习策略,英语成绩较好的学生使用了较多的词汇学习策略。有鉴于此,本文从学习者的角度提出了一些建议。

Abstract:Vocabulary learning is an important part of learning English. However, vocabulary is the obstacle to learn English well for non-English majors in higher-vocational institutions. In the light of the ineffectiveness of learning vocabulary for most non-English majors in higher-vocational institutions, this article make a survey on vocabulary learning strategies for non-English majors in higher-vocational institutions by using the method which unifies the qualitative analysis and the quota analysis. The survey shows that most non-English majors in higher-vocational institutions lack effective vocabulary learning strategies, and students who get high scores adopt more vocabulary learning strategies than other students. Thus, this article gives some suggestions for vocabulary learning strategies from the angle of learners.
