| Abstract: | The solution to the algebraic system arising from two-order elliptic variational problems and discretized via finite element methods is discussed. A direct solution is thus constructed on domain decomposition basis. The algorithms given are well suited to parallel computing architectures,and the conclusions remain valid and independent from the subdivision manner and the size of subdomain. |
