| 摘 要： | 监狱是《双城记》里的一个重要主题,不管是有形的还是无形的。主人公在监狱里饱受着肉体T精神上的折磨。监狱对故事情节的发展也起着非常重要的作用。列出了下列监狱,有形的:巴士底狱,拉福斯,台尔森银行——巴士底狱的翻版。无形的:曼内特的精神监狱;德伐日夫人的复仇监狱;法国人民的生活监狱;达尔内的守愿监狱;卡尔顿的情感监狱。浅探了上述监狱对故事情节的发展所起的伏笔作用,各种监狱都为后来故事情节的发展铺平了道路。
