基督教与近代西方文化在朝鲜半岛的传播

文化传播是人类历史发展的重要内容,而宗教传播又是文化传播最重要的途径之一,基督教与西方文化的这一关系在近代朝鲜半岛表现得非常明显：首先是近代早期朝鲜的知识分子被以基督教为中心的西方文化所吸引,使基督教得以在朝鲜半岛扎根,并使西方文化在这里进一步传播。继而是19世纪后半期开港以后,西方传教士的不断到来,使基督教和西方文化在朝鲜半岛以更大规模传播,并在朝鲜半岛的近代教育和文化“启蒙”运动中起到了重要作用。

Spreading of Christianity and Modern Western Culture into korean Peninsula

Cross - Cultural communication plays a crucial role in history of human development and an important form of this communication is religion spreading, as has been most clearly , manifested in the process of Christianity and western culture's spreading to modern Korean peninsula: first, early modern Korean intellectuals became attracted by western culture with Chris- tianity its its focused center and, in the 17th century, actively introduced them into the peninsula via China. Since then, Christianity had been firmly rooted arid been failitating further spreading of western culture there. Then in the late 19th century after Port Opening policy, many western clergymen came and thus helped Christianity and western culture to expand across the peninsula on a larger scale and to play an important role in the development of modern education and cultural "Enlightment" of Korean peninsula.
