| 摘 要： | 数据库是现代社会中信息资源管理的重要基础,目前专门从事数据库工程的人才数量较少,不能满足日益蓬勃发展的数据库建设与管理的需求。为了提高数据库相关人才的培养质量,提出了以数据库系统工程师为导向的人才培养模式;针对当前数据库专门人才培养在国内高校中缺失的现状,为了给在高校本科中培养数据库专门人才提供参考,对数据库从业者的角色划分,数据库系统工程的特点,数据库系统工程师应具备的素质和能力特征进行了研究,对数据库系统工程师的职业定位作出了新的诠释;提出了数据库系统工程作为计算机专业本科教育的一个新方向的建议,并初步规划了数据库工程专业方向的课程设置,探讨了其实践教学环节的革新。
