锺嵘《诗品》体论探析

Zhong Rong's View on Normative Form

Normative form is a core category to Zhong Rong＇s Shi Pin, a poetry criticism, and commenting on a poem with normative form is an important characteristic in it with distinct features of his own. On the object, Zhong Rong studied only the Wuyan poem, a certain type of poetry. For the content, he focused on genre norm defining and style characterization. The former is found mostly in the Preface while the latter in the text. Analyzing Zhong Rong＇s work on normative form helps to gain a better understanding of stylistic study of the Six Dynasties, as well as a better grasp of the theoretical system of Shi Pin.
