| Abstract: | Summary Progesterone selectively inhibits estradiol upltake by the nuclei of the luminal epithelial cells but not by other uterine cells. This inhibition in estrogen binding parallels the inhibition by progesterone of some estrogenic responses in the luminal epithelial cells only.Acknowledgments.
