| Abstract: | A new study reports comparative genomic analysis of 52 geographically diverse strains of Chlamydia trachomatis. The authors reconstruct a genome-wide phylogeny of the species and report extensive genome-wide recombination across multiple lineages of this intracellular bacterial pathogen. |
