A STUDY OF THE LAW OF THE GROWTH AND DECLINE OF THE BASHANIA FANGIANA BAMBOO SHOOT POPULATION

Basharia fangiana is one of the main bamboos which the giant panda likes to eat.Theessay studies the growth and decline law of Bashania fangiana shoots of asexual reproduction. By making upan anticiparting model of the number of its living,died and total shoots,the essay discovers the primary fac-tors which affect the population growth and decline of Bashania fangiana. The essay concludes that the num-ber of living new shoots and that of one- year adult shoots have a clear impact on the number of biennial adultshoots,and that the number of biennial bamboo and perennial adult bamboo has a clear influence over thenumber of the biennial died shoots. The conclusion has ascientific value for anticipating the development ofBashania fangiana population and estimating the resources of the bamboo,the chief foodstuff of the giant panda.
