| Abstract: | he bifurcation of periodic solutions to a class of reaction-diffusion equations is discussed using the method of asymptotic expansion and the analytic perturbation theory of spectrum. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions are given and the direction of bifurcation as well as the stability are analyzed. |
