摘    要:作为"无线城市"建设的重要技术支撑之一,无线局域网(WLAN)与无线城域网(WMAN)的融合技术已成为当今研究的热点。本文提出一种基于模糊综合评判理论,综合考虑终端移动速度、信号强度、信噪比等多个因素,适用于WIFI无线网络与WIMAX无线网络融合的垂直切换算法。通过NS仿真实验环境对提出的算法进行了实验仿真。实验结果表明,与依靠单一因素如信号强度的切换算法相比,本文提出的算法具有更好的稳定性,能有效减少"乒乓效应"。

Abstract:As one of the most important technical support for"Wireless City",the integration technologies of WLAN and WMAN wireless heterogeneous networks has become a hot research topic.This paper proposes a new vertical handoff algorithm for convergence of WIFI and WIMAX wireless network based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory,taking overall considerations of many factors,such as signal strength,terminal moving speed and signal to noise ratio.The proposed algorithm was performed in the NS2simulation environment and experiment result indicated that the algorithm proposed might decrease"ping-pong"effect and have an excellent performance in stability,compared with the handoff algorithms which relied on single factor like signal strength.
