| Abstract: | Based on Interpretive Translation Theory (ITT), taking English translation text of Mandu Mergen for example, the paper demonstrates the enlightenment of ITT to the English translation of Chinese ethnic classics from the aspects of melopoeia, phanopoeia and logopoeia. The paper argues that ITT provides a strong theoretical support for the English translation of Chines ethnic classics. |
