摘    要:教学过程是一个学习者寻求真理,养成人文精神的认知和实践相统一的过程,也是一个学习者心理成熟的过程。在新时代,社会发展要求以知识传授为主的教育职能向以培养能力和养成人文精神为主的现代教育转变。教育职能的变化要求作为教育行为主体的教师改变自身的角色和探索新的教学方法。列举教师在专业英语语篇能力形成过程中的十一种角色,阐述建构教学模式的观点。

Abstract:The teaching process is a cognitive process along with the practice. During the process, the students are seeking the truth and developing their understanding of humanity. The teaching process is also a process during which the students mature up psychologically. There is a change from traditional diffusing of knowledge to cultivating of creativeness and developing of the students' sense of humanity in the function of education. The change in the function of education is determined by the social needs. The change calls for a change in the roles of the teachers..The author illustrates eleven roles the teachers need to play and advances his own explorations on the modes of teaching.
